Whether you are looking for a piece to celebrate a special occasion—such as a wedding, an anniversary, or a personal milestone—we are here to collaborate with you in bringing your ideas to life.

A custom-made piece in precious metals and gemstones is a meaningful investment, and we understand that you may have many questions. Here’s how the process works, ensuring clarity and alignment every step of the way.

Before committing, I offer a complimentary 30-minute introductory chat—in person or online—to discuss your ideas and see if we are a good fit for each other.

In addition to collection pieces, I have taken on several projects from new-to-old gold creations to repairs, as long as it fits in my values.

It is important we are aligned in expectations and comfortable working together. Please note that I do not simply replicate existing designs from other creators and consider that handmade craftsmanship has a "material" as well as a "time" cost.

Bespoke jewellery is a fully custom process: each piece is designed and handmade individually, which requires dedicated design and fabrication time that cannot be standardised like collection pieces.

That’s why bespoke commissions start at €750. If you’re working with (upcycled) gold, or you’re planning a more complex silver design, bespoke is usually the most suitable route.

You’ll always receive a clear offer before we begin, so you know exactly what to expect.

Booking a Custom Appointment

If you’re ready to explore your bespoke jewellery piece in detail, you can book a custom appointment with me. We will meet each other in Ghent, Sint-Pieters station area. The specific address will be confirmed upon booking.

 

During this meeting, and over a coffee, I take the time to understand your story, inspirations, and design preferences. I ask questions, show examples, and discuss the technical aspects to ensure a realistic and well-planned creation process.

At this stage, there is no obligation to proceed. If you choose to move forward, I will provide an offer.

The Offer: Pricing & Timeline

Within approximately two weeks after your appointment, I will send an offer, including pricing and estimated timelines (if you have agreed to receive an offer). You are under no obligation to accept; however, a deadline for your decision will be included.

In case your project involves upcycling of gold you provide, a pricing offer will be prepared once the gold has been inspected for use and value (carats and (usable) weight). You can find more information about working with "old gold" here.

For designs requiring technical proofs, you will have the opportunity to review and provide feedback before the offer is finalised, approved and production begins. Please note that once the piece moves into production, changes are likely no longer possible.

Prior to testing gold and/or provision of technical proofs an advance payment is required which will be deducted from the remaining balance upon completion of the project.

Moving Forward: Advance Payments & Approvals

If you accept the offer, an advance payment will be required before the project begins. The remaining balance is due prior to collection or or shipment. Cash payments are not accepted.

For certain projects, in-progress fittings may be needed, which can be scheduled online for your convenience.

Completion & Collection

Once your jewellery piece is complete, I will notify you for collection or arrange secure shipping. While shipping options are available, I highly recommend an in-person collection for custom pieces to ensure a final fitting and satisfaction with the finished product.
